Road to Emmaus

Grow in Faith

What Are ‘Road to Emmaus’ Evenings?

Fortnightly
March - November

Whether you're preparing to become Catholic or simply seeking to go deeper in your walk with Christ, our fortnightly Road to Emmaus evenings offer a space to learn, reflect, and grow in understanding.

‘Road to Emmaus’ is a monthly evening of adult catechesis at St Thomas More Parish. It’s open to everyone — from those preparing for Baptism, Confirmation, or reception into the Church, to lifelong Catholics desiring deeper formation. These evenings provide a welcoming space to explore the richness of the Catholic faith and its relevance for everyday life.

Key points:

  • Open to all adult parishioners, not just those preparing for the sacraments

  • Held fortnightly in the parish undercroft, with teaching, reflection, and community

  • Rooted in the OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) model
